UB School of Economics researcher Judit Vall has been presented with the Dissemination Award by the University of Barcelona
Judit Vall, professor and researcher of the UB School of Economics, has been one of the winners ex aequo of the X Distinction from the UB Senate of Doctors and the UB Social Council to the best activities of scientific and humanistic dissemination. This award aims to promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge to society as a whole. The opening ceremony of the award will take place on Thursday May 11, at 17:00, in the Aula Magna of the Historic Building. The event will be available live on UBtv.
Judit Vall, an expert in health economics and labor economics, stands out for her ability to disseminate her research: the main media in the country have echoed her research, something that has allowed her to have an important impact both socially and politically. The results of his research have reached the political leaders responsible for decision making. This has also contributed to the scientific visibility of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UB. Vall is editor and regular author of the economics blog Nada es gratis and participates in various science outreach activities, including the UB Science Cafés.
