Summer Crash Course on Ecological & Feminist Macroeconomics

Great success for the online Crash Course on Ecological & Feminist Macroeconomics organized by the UB School of Economics, under the coordination of Dr Federico Demaria.

The course, held online from July 12 to 16, saw the participation of almost 400 participants from all over the world.

The research-oriented course was thought for students and researchers with a background in economics. However, any participant interested to learn about ecological and feminist macroeconomics was welcome to join.

                                                                                

The course enjoyed the support of BEAT (Barcelona Economic Analysis Team) and the endorsement of several organizations (ESEE, ISEE, Post-Growth Economics Network, Research & Degrowth, Rethinking Economics).

The speakers, all experts in their field, pre-recorded their lecture then participated in live debates with the participants, that were dynamized by the academic team, led by Dr Demaria who was assisted by three tutors.

Among the participants, the course counted with the presence of Oladosu Adenike, Nigerian climate activist and eco-feminist who participated in the Welcome session as a special guest.
