MSc in Economics to offer Erasmus+ exchange opportunities with the Kyoto University from 2019/20
MSc in Economics students at the UB School of Economics will benefit from a new Erasmus+ exchange agreement with Kyoto University (Japan). From the academic year 2019/20, two students from the Faculty of Economics and Business will be able to study master’s degree courses at Kyoto University for one semester each academic year. Likewise, up to two students from Kyoto University will be able to apply for a temporary stay of one semester at our institution.
Kyoto University is one of the leading research-oriented universities in Asia, usually coming in the top two for Japan in most major university rankings. Kyoto has been ranked #35 in the world in the QS Global World Ranking 2019 and 65th according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019. The university has also been ranked #45 for Social Sciences and Management (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018) and #71 for Business and Economics (World University Rankings 2019 by subject).
In addition to the Kyoto University, the MSc in Economics at the UB School of Economics offers Erasmus+ exchange opportunities with the Toulouse School of Economics (France), University of Copenhagen (Denmark), University of Helsinki (Finland), Aix-Marseille School of Economics (France), University of Paris-Saclay (France), University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy).
