UB Economics welcomes new master’s students
The UB Economics team has organised a Welcome Session for all new MSc in Economics students on September 27th. The event will be hosted by Marina Núñez, Director of the programme, who will make a presentation on the master’s degree and will provide useful insight into university study and campus life. This will be followed by further presentations by Raquel Villero, Careers Service Director, university professors and second-year students, as their experience will certainly help newly arrived students. This session will be a good opportunity for students to get to know each other and introduce themselves to university lecturers. A walking tour around the Faculty is scheduled for that day. The Welcome Session will be held simultaneously with the International Fair at the Faculty of Economics and Business, where different exhibitors will provide useful information in their respective stands. The official start of the MSc in Economics is September 26th. However, weeks before that the UB Economics team will have already welcomed all new students individually. Orientation sessions will be held, during which students will register and get information regarding their stay at the University of Barcelona.
