UB PhD programs - Doctoral School
The University of Barcelona PhD Programs covers a wide variety of topics in all scientific, social science and humanities areas. The admissions process for students with an international Master degrees is long. Advise is recommended from each specific PhD program coordinator or the Doctoral School.
PhD in Statistics
UB Ph in Statistics program offers is aimed at students with interest in theoretical and applied statistics, with strong mathematical skills, who have a MSc in Statistics or a similar field. It is a joint program of the Faculty of Mathematics, the Faculty of Biology, theFaculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Economics and Business.
PhD in Economics
UB Economics program is one of only a small number of programs in Spain to have been distinguished by the Ministry of Education’s «Pathway to Excellence award», which acknowledges quality and impact of the research. Faculty members are experts in the field of Behaviour, Games and Risk.
