June 15, 2018: Manish K. Singh defended his thesis. Jury members were Drs. Mariam Camarero (Universitat Jaume I), Ana María Fuertes (City, Universiy of London), and Montserrat Guillen (UB). Dr. Singh is an associate researcher at the Riskcenter UB, he was supervised by Drs. Marta Gómez-Puig and Simón Sosvilla.
The thesis proposes a new indicator of individual and cotry risk based on a DtD measure (distance to default). Two chapter have already been published in the Journal of International Money and Finance
