Artesanías de Barcelona

Thema:

I would like to make book about BC.

I am a Japanese, so I want to tell the culture for Japanese people.

The name of this project is”Artesanías de Barcelona”.

Purpose :

Japanese, like me, we have a culture to use paper to make something.

“Origami”is one of it.

It is a Japanese tradition that makes various shapes by using a paper.

we can make a lot of objects and We are used it from childhood and it has been loved by us from long time ago.

In addition we love paper craft not only Origami but also other paper craft.

This is a good habit.

I would like to introduce not only the features that everyone knows, but also the ones that can not be discovered unless they actually come.

So It is a good method to learn by hand to know about something directly

And I found many good culture while living here.

So I propose to use paper craft to learn the culture of BC for Japanese, and make a book

for paper craft of BC.

Materialize

How to make the book:

・I decide what I will make(motifs)

・I make some sketches of the shape of the book

・I determine the completed shape of the motifs

・I make lift development of the motifs

・I try to make the shapes by some papers

・I choice the colors of the paper crafts

・I print them

・I do bookbinding

I want to make it be friendly to adults and children.

It is easy to carry and the design is simply.

I will make a book but we can cut it to assemble it.

So I will print some parts to be cut, some way to assemble, and finished product.
