Indicators and rankings

The studies and research of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Barcelona have a high assessment in the different rankings that are carried out of the universities at international level. Here are some examples:

QS World University Rankings

Launched in 2004, it is a very popular college ranking. Its website, www.TopUniversities.com offers different information on universities worldwide.

In terms of Psychology, the University of Barcelona is the first in Spain, followed by two universities in Madrid (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Complutense University of Madrid)

The list is headed by Harvard University (USA) and Stanford University (USA).

Times Higher Education Impact Rankings

In its update to 2022, the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Barcelona continues to be the first at the Spanish’s assessment. Cambridge University (UK) and Stanford University (USA) are the top two in this evaluation.

According to the QS World University Rankings, the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Barcelona is among the best 51 to 100 faculties worldwide. The ranking is led by Harvard University, followed by the University of Cambridge, Stanford University, and the universities of Oxford and of California (Berkeley). From the 50th position onwards, the ranking does not establish the exact position of each university, but ranks the centres in intervals (51/100, 101/150, etc.).
