Doctoral studies
A PhD is the highest qualification that a university can award. It is obtained by completing a doctoral programme and successfully preparing and defending a doctoral thesis.
Doctoral programmes are a series of activities designed so that students can gain the skills and competences required to obtain a PhD certificate.
The University of Barcelona Doctoral School (EDUB) is a new organisation that is responsible for doctoral training and all of the doctoral programmes at the UB, in accordance with the university’s strategy.
