News | 25-10-2024

UB Alma Mater incorporates a research project that uses artificial intelligence to improve both the performance and well-being of players, preventing burnout and managing frustration. Led by Albert Sánchez Niubò, professor and researcher at the UB’s Faculty of Psychology, the research proposes a solution that combines game performance data with information about players’ health, including sleep patterns and physical activity to offer a personalized analysis.

This research project will be applied in a pioneering way in this UB tournament and aims to become a turning point in the care of the wellbeing of e-sports players. The results obtained can be projected in both sporting and occupational areas.
