The University of Barcelona stands out in 42 disciplines (two more than last year) of the 55 analysed in the new edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject. Moreover, the UB has consolidated its position as a national leader: it is the Spanish university that stands out in the most disciplines and achieves the top position in Spain in twenty subjects. 

This is the case of the Faculty of Psychology, which is in position 65 in the ranking by specialty, followed only by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, in position 98.
