The University of Barcelona stands out in forty-four disciplines, two more than last year, out of the fifty-five analyzed in the new edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject published in march. The UB ranks among the top one hundred in the world in a total of twenty-two disciplines. Additionally, it consolidates its position as the national leader: it is the Spanish university that stands out in the most disciplines and achieves the first position in the country in twenty-two subjects. 

This is the case of the Faculty of Psychology, which is ranked 60th in the specialty ranking, the first at the Catalan and Spanish level, followed by the Autonomous University of Madrid, in the 80th position.
