Research

The University of Barcelona is the foremost research university in Spain. The Faculty of Physics contributes prestigious, high-level research through the efforts of its teaching and research staff across the different groups, which are involved in a variety of national and international competitive projects. In addition to its groups and research lines, the Faculty oversees the work of three research institutes and two CERCA institutes.

The Faculty ofeers its researchers a dedicated support service and organizes various activities throughout the year on methodology, research evaluation and dissemination, including conferences, workshops and seminars led by Faculty staff and guest researchers from other universites and research centres in Spain and abroad.
