To pass the subjects in the curriculum, students must study and pass the related subjects. In accordance with the assessment guidelines drawn up by the University of Barcelona (and approved by the Governing Council on 6 July 2006), subjects shall generally be evaluated by means of continuous assessment. Assessment systems and tools shall take into account the knowledge, ability and skills acquired during the learning processes that are established in the specific objectives of each subject and in the relevant general competences that are associated with the subject area it forms part of.
