Studies

The Faculty of Philosophy has around a thousand students and ninety lecturers and researchers. The Faculty's course offering includes the bachelor's degree in Philosophy, six interuniversity master's degrees, four of which are coordinated by the Faculty of Philosophy, two of its own doctoral programmes and five doctoral programmes in which it participates. In addition, it offers UB-specific postgraduate courses and university extension courses.

The UB is ranked among the top fifty universities in the world in philosophy, in forty-fifth place according to the edition of Qs World University Rankings by Subject 2020. The Faculty's courses have been recognised, assessed and won awards, for example, the new International Master’s Programme (IMP) award given by the Government of Catalonia to the interuniversity master's degree in Analytical Philosophy.
