Dear students,
Welcome to the Faculty of Philology and Communication. If you are interested in the world of languages, literature and communication, this is the place for you. Our faculty, housed in the emblematic Historic Building of the University of Barcelona, offers a wide range of training options all with the highest international quality standards. Most of our eleven bachelor’s degrees, nine master’s degrees and three doctoral programmes have recently received accreditation of excellence. This guarantees that training is rigorous, comprehensive and extremely versatile. Data from the latest employability studies show that our graduates are the most competitive in the education, cultural management, publishing and media sectors.
Besides, the Faculty of Philology and Communication has a clear focus on internationalisation and has signed over 150 agreements with universities worldwide so that you can complete and perfect your training. It carries out high-quality research, numerous knowledge transfer activities and activities for society, making it an unquestionable leader in humanistic studies.
