Final project

Characteristics

The student will have to prepare a written work under the supervision of a doctoral tutor in which he will have to demonstrate his ability to develop an intervention or research in the professional field and his ability to work independently. The student is also expected to integrate and apply the knowledge acquired throughout the Master's. The Work will have to be defended publicly at the end of the Master's.

Projects should be carried out as research assignments: 

Options:

  • A PhD tutor from the Master's teaching team.
  • Two doctoral tutors from the Master's teaching team.
  • A doctoral tutor for the Master's and an external doctoral professor for the Master's.
  • The tutor (or tutors) supervises the development of the TFM and prepares a short report at the end, but cannot be part of the evaluation committee.
  • The Master's Coordinating Committee will assign a tutor to each student after knowing the student's interests and in accordance with the line of research to which he is assigned. In order to make it easier for students to choose, the Master's teaching staff will draw up a menu of proposals.

Three members; a committee will be formed for each specialization:

  •  Coordinator.
  •  A PhD-holder from the master's degree teaching staff.
  •  An external PhD-holder, from one of the departments involved in the teaching of the master's degree.

Presentation and defence of the Final Project (20 minutes) and subsequent discussion with the examination panel, in a public session.

The final grade is a weighted average of the mark awarded for the final project, the mark for the student's presentation, and the tutor's report.

Submission deadline for final projects: 16 June (first assessment period) or 12 September (second assessment period). The defence will generally take place within the following three weeks.
