Advanced Studies in Catalan Language and Literature
Introduction
The interuniversity master's degree Advanced Studies in Catalan Language and Literature provides specialized and applied training in Catalan linguistics and literature. It is designed primarily to provide students with the skills to conduct research into specific aspects of Catalan language and literature and to apply the skills and competences acquired to a range of related professional activities. These include secondary school teaching, the publishing sector (consultative and advisory roles for publications or special collections), language advisory and promotion services, and language correction for a wide range of companies and institutions.
The course is intended for holders of undergraduate degrees in philology and languages, or, more generally, in arts and humanities disciplines, with previous academic training in Catalan language and a particular interest in continuing their studies to doctoral level or in acquiring complementary training in professionally-focused skills.
