According to the Standards Regulatory of Evaluation and Qualification of Learnings in force at the University of Barcelona, Article 9, the undergraduate who, at the beginning of the academic year, receives a maximum of 10 % of the credits for finishing the education, enrolment entitles him to a special call. In this 10 %, the student can enjoy the special call, but will only have teaching in the semester in which the subject is taught. The characteristics of this special evaluation must be in line with the same criteria as the single evaluations indicated in this regulation.
The special call will be a second evaluation call added to the unique evaluation of the teachings of the University of Barcelona.
- The subjects with teaching in the first semester of the year and with only ordinary evaluation in January will have their special call for the completion of studies in Juny/July.
- The subjects with teaching in the second semester of the year or with an annual teaching and with a single ordinary call in June will have this special call in January (prior to the second semester).
In no case, the added call will belong to a course other than that in which the student is enrolled when requested.
The deadlines for applying for the special call for the completion of studies are announced in due course on the Faculty website (usually, the first half of November for second semester and annual subjects, and the first April fortnight for first semester subjects. Subsequently, the exam dates (late December and late May) are published.
