Recognition and transfer of credits

Reconeixement de crèdits

The bachelor's degree student can apply for the recognition of credits for the degree he or she is taking, that is, the acceptance, by the UB, of the training or professional experience contemplated in the Normativa de Recognition i Transfer de Credits in the Official Graduate Educations of the University of Barcelona.

The online application can be made throughout the academic year, accompanied by the following documentation:

  • DNI Photocopy
    Academic certificate showing the subjects, the number of credits and the qualification obtained in the studies of origin, as well as the information of the studies that gave access to the University (academic record in the case of UB students)
    Programs of subjects completed, duly sealed by the corresponding center
    Photocopy of the studied plan, duly sealed by the corresponding center
    In case it is not included in the academic certificate, compressed photocopy of the accrediting documentation that gave access to the University
    Payment of fees for the study of the transfer and recognition request.

 

The College Secretariat will process and submit the corresponding resolution to the student.

The application may be submitted at any time in the course. Once the recognition is obtained, the credits must be registered. This registration will cost 20% of the credit cost for the current course and can only be completed during the tuition periods established by the Faculty.

Transferència de crèdits

The transfer of credits consists of the inclusion in the student's academic record of credits obtained in previous official studies that have not led to the obtaining of an official degree. In the case of students from another university, the transfer of credits involves the payment of the transfer of file from the university of origin. The transfer of credits does not take place if the student expresses the desire to alternate or simultaneously complete the studies.

The online application will be accompanied by the required documentation and will be processed by the Secretariat of the Faculty, which will forward the resolution to the student and incorporate the result into their file, if applicable.
