Students from foreign universities who wish to pre-enrol for a master's degree or post-graduate course at the Faculty will be able to send the required academic documentation in the pre-enrolment process in electronic format, without being required to comply with the legalisation and/or translation requirements.
If the student is admitted to the course, he or she will have to legalize and/or translate the original documentation and present it to the College Secretariat, along with photocopies, so that they are compulsed.
The documents to be legalised and/or translated are:
Title or diploma Academic Certificate Document issued by the country of origin authority, which is competent in the matter, which certifies that the degree obtained by the student allows admission to Master's degree courses (this document will not be necessary if the European Supplement to Title is submitted)
In the case of countries for documents from EU countries, signatories to the agreement on the European Economic Area or bilateral agreement with the European Union, no legalisation is required, although these will have to be signed by the Chancellor or an academic authority.
The legalization of the tiene that belongs to the original document. The photocopias legalizadas are not valid for access and enrolment in a university master (except in the case of documents issued in China and Irán).
Step 2: Official Translation
Documents that are written in a language other than Spanish, Catalan or English must be accompanied by their respective official translation into Spanish or Catalan. The translation will have to be made from the full original document, including the signature legalization procedure.
Valid translation typology:
Translations made by a legally registered translator/performer in Spain that forms part of the "updated list of translators-sworn intruders" published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MAEC).
Translations made in the diplomatic representations of the countries of origin or destination of documents.
Translations made in the country of origin are not accepted as official translation for admission and enrolment in the master's degree, although the Spanish Consulate in that country has legalised the translator's signature. In order for them to be valid, the Consulate must validate them, that is to say, certify the accuracy of the translation with respect to the document written in the original language.
Step 3: Photocopy Compulsion
The original documents legalizados y las traducciones tendrán que presentar en la secretaría de la Facultad jointo con sus respectvas photocopias, para que éstas puedan serpuladas. The original will be devueltos al Interesado.
Step 4: Enrollment Authorization
Students who access a degree course in a country belonging to the ISS will be able to complete the enrolment from this very moment, in any case always within the established enrolment period.
Students who access a degree course in a country outside the ISS will have to await a written resolution authorising them to enrol.
