Dissemination, training and promotion of research
Toc-toc is the onomatopoeia that refers to the noise we hear when someone knocks on a door. This project aims to facilitate communication between the UB and the various social agents interested in the research carried out at the University. The participating researchers offer informative talks in which they explain in a clear and understandable way what their research consists of. All of them - each from their area of knowledge - share the anxiety of bringing their work closer to society..
What leads a person to enter the world of science? What path does a scientist follow? Do we really know what and what scientists are like? Do they all work in the lab? The answers to these questions are diverse, as diverse and varied as the fields of knowledge. Camins Infinits wants to answer the questions that young people and children ask about the world of research. The project aims to bring schoolchildren and young researchers from the University of Barcelona into contact with the dual objective of stimulating social interest in science and knowledge and, at the same time, improving the communication skills of young researchers.
The aim of the party is to make accessible to all audiences, in a playful and innovative way, the research carried out at the University of Barcelona, and at the same time to claim the relevant role of science in all areas of the life The scheduled activities and workshops aim to encourage the discovery of the science that surrounds us and stimulate the ability of the participants to adopt a reflective and scientific attitude to any situation.
