Ramon Llull Documentation Center
The Ramon Llull Documentation Center of the University of Barcelona aims to:
- The promotion of specialized research on Ramon Llull and Lullism and its cultural and scientific contexts.
- The dissemination, promotion and management of Lullian studies, in particular, and medieval Catalan literature, in general.
He works in three main areas of research:
- The documentation and the bibliography,
- The edition and computerized treatment of medieval Catalan texts,
- Studies on Ramon Llull and its context and the dissemination of Lullian studies
The Ramon Llull Documentation Center aims to safeguard, expand and disseminate three large bibliographic and digital funds:
- What comes from the legacy of Professor Anthony Bonner at the University of Barcelona and which has given rise to the Ramon Llull Database.
- The one that comes from the old Catalan Text Processing Service (STITC) of the Faculty of Philology and Communication and which has given rise to the Old Catalan Dictionary.
- Which corresponds to the Sciència.cat research line and which originates the Sciència.cat DB database.
