Ability to interpret and analyse Romance languages and literatures from a synchronous and diachronic comparative perspective.
Theoretical and practical knowledge of two Romance languages in addition to Spanish or Catalan, and the ability to use them for different purposes (education, editing, writing, etc.), orally and in writing.
Knowledge of the historical evolution of Romance literature and its articulation in literary genres. In-depth knowledge of the history of the literature and culture of two Romance languages. Ability to develop a critical discourse about these literatures and cultures from a variety of methodological perspectives.
Knowledge of linguistic tools and methods applied to the analysis of Romance languages.
Ability to apply philological editing techniques to Romance literary and linguistic texts.
