Tutorial action plan

gmarquez@ub.eduThe degree in Spanish provides undergraduate students with a tutoring service that helps them resolve doubts and problems during the course and guidance for their professional insertion.
- Help students, at the beginning of their studies, to integrate into the university world.
- Encourage their interest in the Spanish language and literature, and culture in general.
- Detect and solve the problems they may encounter during their training.
- Attend to students with specific needs.
- Keep students informed of the scholarships and grants available to them.
- Guide them, at the end of their studies, with a view to further studies and insertion in the world of work.
- Learn more directly, through tutoring, the needs of the students.
1st year: collective presentation session
At the beginning of the year, there is an initial collective session aimed at first-year students of the Hispanic Philology degree. This session has the following objectives:
- Welcome the students.
- Introduce the management team and the teachers who take care of the tutorials.
- Inform them about how the degree works.
- Guide and advise them on studies.
- To publicize the means of information and communication that the Department makes available.
- Obtain information, on a permanent basis, about the needs of the students of the Hispanic Philology Degree
1st year
From this initial session, students can turn to the tutors whenever they want to receive advice or have to solve a problem related to their studies. They can be contacted by email or phone.
2nd and 3rd year
November
Information session on national and international mobility grants, and on collaboration grants with the Department.
4th year
November
Information session on:
- Research projects and cultural entities linked to the Department and with which they can collaborate.
- Masters and PhD programs offered by the Department and other post-degree academic options.
Masters, postgraduates and doctorates
The masters and doctoral programs offered by the Department have specific individual tutoring services.
