The Degree in Catalan Philology offers a tutoring service that is available to students throughout all studies, especially undergraduate but also postgraduate and master's. The aim of this service is to guide them and help them resolve any questions they may have during their training.

1. Helping students, at the beginning of their studies, to integrate into the university world
2. Encourage their interest in Catalan language and literature, and culture in general.
3. Detect and solve the problems they may encounter during their training.
4. Attend to students with specific needs.
5. Guide them, at the end of their studies, with a view to further studies and insertion in the world of work.

1st year: Collective presentation session

Once classes have started, there is an initial collective session aimed at first-year students of the Catalan Philology degree. This session has the following objectives:

1. Welcome the students.
2. Inform them about the operation of the Department.
3. Guide and advise them on how to approach their studies.
4. To publicize the means of information and communication that the degree makes available to you: web, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
5. Introduce both the management team and the people who take care of the tutorials.

1st year – 4th year

From this initial session, students can turn to the tutors whenever they want to receive advice or have to solve a problem related to their studies. They can be contacted by email or phone.

2nd year

In November, the tutors schedule a collective session to inform about the research projects of the Degree, the collaboration grants with the Department and the Erasmus and Sicue programs.

4th year

In April, fourth-year students are invited to an information session about the Department's master's, graduate and doctoral programs and other post-degree academic options.
