Assessment system
The ordinary assessment system for evaluating subjects is continuous assessment, which serves both to accredit and assess the acquisition of skills, while also becoming a training and learning tool.
The regulations governing the teaching plans of the subjects and the assessment and grading of learning incorporate the indications relating to the assessment regime of the subjects.
- In the continuous assessment regime, a series of assessable activities will be carried out throughout the course, which must allow the acquisition of the theoretical or conceptual knowledge of the subject, as well as a practical side, to be accredited , the ability to solve the applied activities that derive from it. The assessable tests, as well as the global one that is taken at the end of the course, guarantee the achievement of the subject's objectives set out in the teaching plan, both in terms of the knowledge to be acquired and in terms of to the skills that need to be achieved and developed.
- The student has the possibility to take the single assessment under the conditions set by the regulations of the University of Barcelona. The student must request to be included in the evaluation system within the deadlines established by means of the single evaluation form provided by the Student Secretariat. Students who do not request the single assessment, within the established deadline, must continue with the continuous assessment regime.
- The Teaching Plan for each subject contains all the information related to the evaluation system.
