The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and English Studies offers a service of informative sessions that are available to English Studies Degree students. The aim of this service is to guide them and to help them resolve any doubts they may have during their training.
1. Help students, at the beginning of their studies, to integrate into the university world.
2. Stimulate their interest in linguistics, the English language and literature in the English language.
3. Detect and solve the problems they may encounter during their training.
4. Attend to students with specific needs.
5. Guide them, at the end of their studies, with a view to further studies and insertion in the world of work.
1st year: presentation session (October)
Objectives:
- Welcome the students.
- Inform them about the operation of the English Linguistics and Literature sections, within the Department of LiLM and English Studies.
- Guide and advise them on how to approach their studies.
2nd year – 3rd year (November)
Objectives:
- Inform students about mobility possibilities, national and international exchange programs (Seneca/Sicue, Erasmus, etc.).
- Inform students about the call for collaboration grants with the departments.
4th year (May)
Objectives:
- Inform students about job opportunities related to their degree studies, both in terms of jobs in the academic field as well as in the business field.
