According to Article 17 of Royal Decree 1393/2007, of 29 October, students will be able to enrol in the master's degree if they pass the assessment of established academic merits (admission requirements) for teaching among which specific prior training requirements could be specified in the field of the master's degree.
The Secretariat of Students and Teaching will take care of the candidate's compliance with the prior qualification requirements established by the Royal Decree (access requirements).
Once the two procedures have been completed, that is, the academic admission and the administrative access, the student will be able to complete his or her registration in the chosen degree.

The UB establishes the admission procedure in each of the master's degrees. This procedure includes specific criteria and merit assessment criteria, and, in certain cases, specific prior training. The admission criteria for each master's degree can be consulted on the teaching website. In all cases, effective admission depends on the assessment criteria established by the university and the master's degree.
