Research

Research at the Faculty of Nursing is carried out by the research groups and through participation in doctoral programmes and in national and international research networks.

Research into personalized nursing care strategies and measures to improve patient health forms the basis of the Faculty's scientific output. Work is also carried out in the area of advanced clinical practice, the influence of teaching methodologies on learning outcomes, the acquisition of professional skills by nursing students, and the impact of nursing care on the effectiveness and efficiency of health systems.

The Faculty has several research groups and takes part in collaborative work with numerous external researchers and groups, giving it a unique level of cross-disciplinary expertise in the health sciences and social sciences.
