Doctoral programmes

A doctoral degree is the highest academic qualification awarded by the University. It qualifies the holder to teach and research in the public university system. The doctoral degree is obtained by completing a doctoral programme and successfully defending the doctoral thesis.

The Faculty of Nursing offers one doctoral programme: Nursing and Health. It represents the University's commitment to the future of training and research in nursing and health and is offered in conjunction with Rovira i Virgili University. The purpose of the programme is to train new researchers in the field of nursing and healthcare, with the aim of enhancing the quality of research.
