Grants
The Master has an official price, which is determined by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, and no discounts are offered at the price of tuition, except for large family members or those students linked to public universities of Catalonia.
General information on grants and financing facilities can be found on the website of the University of Barcelona- Grants.
Foreign students can find calls for scholarships awarded by the Agencia_de_Cooperación Internacional.
Since the Master is linked to the PhD Program "Medicine" with a Quality Mention recognition, students may ask for mobility grants at the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación.
Application for Spanish Visas
To apply for a Visa, you will need the following documents:
1- A letter of acceptance to the Master (the Master Secretariat can send it to you). You have to submit the letter of acceptance to the Embassy of Spain located in your country 20 days and up to a month be fore applying for the visa.
2- Proof of financial resources to support yourself in Barcelona and to return back to your country.
3- Once in Barcelona and after you have registered to the Master, you have to obtain a student identity card in the Government Office (Av. Marques d'Argentera 2). For this, you will have to provide a certificate stating that you are a student of the University of Barcelona. The Master Secretariat will provide you with this certificate. This card is valid during 12 months and is renewable annually.
