The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences offers a wide offer of quality degree programmes in the field of health, in the form of six bachelor's degrees, twelve university master’s degrees, 122 postgraduate and master’s degrees and three doctoral programmes.
The EHEA bachelor's degrees taught at the Faculty are Medicine (six years), Dentistry (five years), and Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing and Podiatry (four years each). In all courses, students acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to be able to develop the profession successfully.
University master’s degrees from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences give students access to doctoral studies and also develop their competences in specific areas of knowledge. The offer of master's degrees includes twelve programmes in different fields of study: Principles of Care and Education for Diabetes Sufferers, Biomedicine, Advanced Medical Skills, Advanced Nursing Clinical Practice, Introduction to Mental Health Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Biomedical Engineering, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Nutrition, Chronic Diseases and Healthy Ageing, Leadership and Management in Nursing, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Translational Medicine, Applied Research Methodology in Nursing Care, Clinical Research.
Three doctoral programmes led by the Faculty represent the highest academic distinction. A doctorate qualifies the holder to teach and conduct research at the university level.
