Credit recognition

Academic credit recognition:

Students can obtain academic recognition in credits for participation in University culture, sports, student representation, solidarity cooperation, and participation in departmental activities, up to a maximum of 6 credits of the total curriculum. These credits count as elective credits in the curricula.

The recognized credits will appear in the student's transcript, but without a grade and without counting for the average grade of the transcript.

The equivalence in the activities that can be recognized in the degree is 25 hours of activity of the student per ECTS.

The activities are not evaluated according to the current UB evaluation regulations but following the criteria specified in the activity programs.

Students can apply for credit recognition for participation in university institutional activities of a cultural, sports, student representation, solidarity, and cooperation nature.

The activities must have been carried out within the same period in which the course is taught, except in the case of institutional or university activities carried out in the summer immediately preceding the day on which the student accesses the degree of the UB.

2. University institutional activities organized by other universities.

They are recognized at the rate of 1.5 credits for each term and body/commission, with a minimum participation in 80% of the sessions.

Activities organized by the Faculty with potential academic recognition:

1. Active participation in choirs and orchestras of the UB.

2. Research activities and exchanges organized by student associations recognized by the UB.
