Support and guidance

Prior information and entry to the Faculty

Participation in the Saló de l’Ensenyament: It is held annually, within the framework of the Training and Work Week of the Fira de Barcelona. Its purpose is to inform potential students about the undergraduate, master, and postgraduate studies that the Faculty offers. Our participation is coordinated by the Study Council and involves students from recent years.

Open Day: Members of the dean's team, heads of studies, faculty, and undergraduate students offer an information session followed by a round of questions. Afterward, there is a guided tour of the various facilities on the Faculty's campuses.

Registration Days: The vice-deans, heads of studies, heads of secretaries, administration and services staff, and undergraduate students collaborate. Their purpose is to present and guide all the administrative aspects related to the number of credits to be enrolled, itineraries, the regime of stays, recognition of credits, etc. For the introduction of enrollment data, students have personalized attention in the computer rooms of the Faculty.

Reception Day: It is aimed at new first-year students and will take place in September. The dean's team, heads of studies, first-year coordinators, and those responsible for the different services, as well as undergraduate students, take part. In these sessions, information is given on the characteristics of the faculty and campuses, physical spaces and their location, own hospitals and associated hospitals, and the main resources and services of the UB located on campus: CRAI (Resource Center for the learning and research), study rooms, etc.

Introductory sessions to the operation and resources of the CRAI: In a one-hour session, the computer resources that can be useful tools especially for the realization of the works proposed in the subjects of degree are presented.

 

Information and training actions that are carried out during the degree

Information on scientific conferences of potential interest for their training: This information is provided through the webpage and the informative screens of the Faculty installed in the hall of each campus.

Relevant information on academic procedures: recognition of credits, group changes, enrollment extension (Faculty web).

Monographic training sessions of the different bibliographic resources: The CRAI programs sessions are aimed at deepening the knowledge and efficient use of the main sources of information in Health Sciences.

Information sessions on mobility programs: The coordinator of international relations with the support of the Secretary of Students and Teaching guides and informs about the Exchange Programs to students interested in carrying out a curricular stay through these programs.

Presentation and orientation session of the Final Degree Project (TFG): The TFG coordinators hold a session aimed at students who must choose and carry out their TFG so that they can guide the selection of their work accordingly with their motivations.
