Continued evaluation
As a general rule, the assessment at the University of Barcelona is continuous and within the academic period set for the subject, following the sequence of the curriculum and the framework calendar approved by the University.
Single evaluation
If a student declares that he/she cannot meet the requirements of a continuous assessment, he/she may take the single assessment. The exercise of this right may not lead to discrimination concerning the continuous assessment of the maximum grade that can be obtained. The single assessment must be able to guarantee the overcoming of the objectives established in the subject.
The student who wishes to request the single assessment must fill in this form and deliver it signed and in duplicate to his/her responsible teacher who will return one of the signed copies to the requesting student.
The deadlines for submitting the single assessment application are:
First semester subjects: October 15
Second-semester subjects: March 15
Extraordinary call for graduation
The student who, when enrolling at the beginning of the academic year, has a maximum of 10% of the corresponding credits to complete the course, is entitled to an extraordinary call for the end of studies, with the understanding that he/she is only entitled to the teaching corresponding to the semester in which the subject is taught. To be entitled to the special call, the student must register for all the remaining credits to complete the course. Students wishing to apply for the single assessment must consult the extraordinary end-of-course enrollment schedule.
