Highlights
The degree focuses on the study of how to generate and harness information, covering organization, search, use and transmission. Graduates have a wide range of career opportunities in cutting-edge technology companies (websites, social networks, safety and vigilance in digital environments, e-commerce, information auditing, etc.) or any type of institution specialized in information (such as public, university, museums or administrative libraries; documentation centres specialized in areas such as health, the law or the media; heritage or company archives, etc.).
The bachelor's degree in Digital Information and Documentation Management (GIDD) has a total study load of 240 credits, of which 60 correspond to basic training subjects. It provides students with a general training and prepares them for subsequent specialization through a wide range of master's degrees.
As part of their studies, students are offered various mobility options (Erasmus, SICUE, CINDA, summer placements, stays abroad) and paid non-curricular placement options in order to gain experience in different professional areas.
