- The principles and practical skills required to design, manage and assess information services and tailor these to different community models, including geographic communities and virtual communities of individuals with common problems, goals or links to particular organizations or activities.
- The IT skills to retrieve, select, order, conserve and disseminate information.
- The communication skills to mediate between information users and resources and resource management abilities required to assure service quality.
- A versatile approach to the issues of our changing labour market and to the constant innovation in processes and tools.
- The strategic know-how to process information and documentation related to a variety of organizations.
