Information for the student – Dual pathways: Audiovisual Communication - Information and Documentation Sciences (extinction) (course curriculum 2015)

Introduction

At the University of Barcelona we have designed a curriculum that allows you to study both Audiovisual Communication and Information and Documentation simultaneously. The programme requires that you complete a total of 348 credits in five years, studying subjects from both degrees.

This double degree is aimed at students who want to embark on a professional career with knowledge of both of these specialized areas, and the capacity to integrate into hybrid work environments. The programme covers aspects related to information management applied to the media, as well as the creation of audiovisual products. It also addresses concepts such as the corporate presence on social networks and web portals, among others.

The dual pathway has been planned especially to allow students to develop the competences encompassed by the two degrees as efficiently and effectively as possible.
