The University of Barcelona is Spain’s leading research university. The Faculty of Geography and History contributes prestigious, quality research through the work of its teaching and research staff: it has the most recognized research groups of all the University’s faculties and the second most funded research groups.

To support this research activity, the Faculty has its own well-equipped services and facilities. It also holds numerous talks and seminars throughout the year that are open to the public.
