Information for the student – Urban Design: Art, City, Society (currently being phased out)

The Final Work in Urban Design is the development of a paper of approximately 40,000 words on a topic of urban design derived from the annual offer of issues raised by the Board of Master

Research should be organized from the following contents

• Theme and relevance of election 
• State of the Art on the subject 
• Work methodology and sources 
• Development of the discussion on the topic 
• Conclusions 

Given the diverse origins of students allowed drafting the final work in Latin languages: castilian, catalan, portuguese, french and italian. For those who are not fluent writing one of these languages the wording of the final work should be in english.

As mentioned the TFM is the writing of a dissertation of approx. 40000 words, as indicated in section of content. Master Coordination Commission appoints each course teachers Committee held (a) the methodological panel and (b) may be susceptible to direct the work.

The procedure starts in October with the request of the issues that is believed can be further developed in TFM. Subsequently the Coordinating Commission also organizes and arranges the guardians, (which will help students in choosing) and possible work Directors. January Earlier making public the list and Directors Work. Students, through the virtual campus can present concrete proposals on the list of issues that are evaluated and assessed by tutors.
