Information for the student – Urban Design: Art, City, Society (currently being phased out)

The master's degree does not offer curricular placements in its syllabus.

Despite this, within the framework of the research projects coordinated by the teaching staff and under the auspices of the collaboration agreements signed by the CR POLIS, internships are integrated in the development of some of the subjects, especially in Project Workshop.  Students receive a certification for this activity.

On the other hand, students, through Feina UB, can carry out non-curricular placements in companies and institutions, which favor the acquisition of skills that prepare them for the professional practice.

They are carried out throughout the academic year by previously agreeing on the agreement and the contents of the training project: period, number of hours, schedule, functions, competencies, tutors, etc.

Duration: extracurricular placements up to 750 hours per academic year. The student is covered by school or voluntary insurance, depending on age, in addition to damage to third parties. The student will have a tutor from the faculty and one from the company, who will have to coordinate during the development of the placement.

Being of a formative nature, they cannot lead to obligations specific to an employment relationship. The agreement includes the protection of personal data of the student and the confidentiality of company data.
