Information for the student – Soil and Water Management (biennial)
Introduction
The two-yearly edition of the Interuniversity Master's Degree in Soil and Water Management was first introduced in academic year 2008-2009. It is organized by the University of Lleida, the University of Barcelona, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and the Public University of Navarre. It is structured according to the European Higher Education Area's (EHEA) guidelines and recommendations. In adapting to the EHEA (Bologna Process), we have taken advantage of the experience gained during the years of collaborating with the aforementioned universities on previous doctoral studies.
The Master's Degree in Soil and Water Management offers students cross-disciplinary training in the area of earth sciences, particularly in hydrology and edaphology applied to the sustainable use of natural resources, in agricultural and forestry environments, and in the conservation of the quality and quantity of the resources of water and soil.
The course is taught by recognised specialists from the four universities, in the areas of geology, chemistry, biology and edaphology, and in the more applied sciences of agricultural, forest and hydrologic engineering.
