Accreditations
University degrees must undergo an accreditation process after 6 years or 8 years for degrees of 300 or 360 credits, from their verification or from the last accreditation (RD 822/2021).
In the accreditation process, the degrees are subjected to an external evaluation process to show that the degree is being developed in accordance with the verified report. In the case of Catalonia, the external evaluation agency is AQU Catalunya.
Accreditation takes place in two different phases, following the processes defined in the AQU Guide "Guide to the accreditation of official bachelor's and master's degrees" [in Spanish].
On this page, you can consult, for each accreditation process, the following data:
- Composition of the External Evaluation Committee (EAC)
- Scheduling of the external accreditation visit
- Minutes of constitution of the Internal Evaluation Committee (IAC)
- Accreditation self-report
The accreditation process ends with the External Evaluation Report by the External Evaluation Committee (CAE), and the Accreditation Report by the specific Committee of AQU Catalunya. This documentation is available at this link, in the section corresponding to each course.
