Acces and admission

In general, access to an official doctoral programme requires an official bachelor’s degree or the equivalent from Spain and a university master's degree. One must also have accumulated a minimum of 300 ECTS credits in undergraduate and master's degree programmes. For further information on other requirements, please consult Article 20 of the regulations governing the doctorate in the UB.

Admission to the doctoral programme is the responsibility of the Academic Commission. Therefore, to be admitted to the program, the candidate must meet the admissions requirements and the additional requirements and criteria established by the Academic Committee to select the candidates for the programme. To apply for access and admission to the doctoral program, applicants must complete pre-registration and deliver the required documentation within the established deadlines.
