Information for the student – Sociology: Social Transformations and Innovation

Credit recognition is the process by which credits obtained for different courses of study or awarded for relevant professional experience are included in a student’s academic record. These credits count towards the required study load for the master’s degree.

The process is governed by the general regulations on the transfer of credits for university master’s degrees at the UB (information in Catalan).

As stated in the regulations, the number of credits that can be recognized is limited to 15% of the total study load for the course.

Appendix A1 lists the specific documentation required for the different types of credit recognition that students may request.

Students who wish to apply for credit recognition and transfer must submit the form to the Postgraduate Office (Faculty of Economics and Business).
