Credit recognition
Credit recognition is the acceptance of credits earned for previous study on an official degree course and the computation of these credits for the purposes of obtaining a university master’s degree from the UB. Credit recognition may also be granted for credits obtained in other types of degree courses and for duly accredited professional experience.
The process is governed by the general regulations on credit recognition and credit transfer for university master’s degrees at the UB.
Specific regulations of the faculty on transfer of credits for master's degrees.
As stated in the regulations, the number of recognized credits cannot exceed 15% of the total credit load of the course of study.
Appendix A1 lists the specific documentation required for the different types of credit recognition that students may request.
Requests for credit recognition and transfer must be submitted to the Master’s and Doctoral Office of the Faculty of Economics and Business, using the form provided.
