The bachelor’s degree in Economics consists of 240 credits that provide all the necessary theoretical and practical training. During the first year and the first semester of the second year, basic training subjects are offered (78 credits). Compulsory subjects (96 credits) are those that cover the main content of the learning process focused on the areas of Spanish, European and international economics; economic policy and public policies; public treasury and taxation; econometrics; microeconomics and macroeconomics, and economic history. From the third year, students can choose optional subjects (60 credits) from the wide range on offer (336 credits), which are mainly distributed in six pathways of the bachelor's degree and a mathematics pathway that should enable students to expand their abilities and competences. Students can carry out an optional external placement worth up to 12 credits at a wide range of institutions and companies in many sectors. The final stage of the degree is the completion of the final project.
The structure of the EHEA bachelor's degree provides the opportunity to carry out one or two stays abroad through the university mobility programmes offered at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
