Research

The research groups at the Faculty of Earth Sciences carry out quality research in national and European projects covering diverse areas of significant value to society, including natural resources, the environment, geological hazards, climate change and biodiversity. The Faculty has its own research support services and organizes public conferences throughout the year led by home researchers and experts from centres and institutions.

The Faculty publishes Geologica Acta, an international open-access journal indexed in the Journal Citation Reports for the dissemination of research output in the field of Earth Sciences.
