Handing over the title

Notification to collect the diploma:

The centre notifies students in writing when they can come to collect the expedited degree.

Handing of the diploma:

The diploma can only be collected from the Secretary's Office of the centre by the person who holds it, who must identify him/herself by presenting the original of the DNI, NIE or passport.

If he/she cannot do so in person, he/she may authorise another person to collect it, always by means of a notarised power of attorney. In this case, the authorised person must bring the power of attorney and the original and photocopy of their DNI, NIE or passport. If the power of attorney has been formalised before a foreign notary, the document must be legalised through diplomatic channels or apostilled, if the state from which the document originates is a signatory to the Hague Convention of 1961.

If the holder resides outside Barcelona, he/she can request in writing at the centre that his/her diploma be sent to the Government Delegation-High Inspectorate of Education or Subdelegation of the Government or to the Consular Office closest to his/her place of residence. This service involves the prior payment of a fee for the cost of sending the diploma.

The deadline for the collection of this certificate is five years from the date of issue.
